Dienes Werke has introduced a new grinding machine, Semi DC-3, for grinding and polishing all kinds of circular knives, especially for regrinding the top and bottom knives of slitting machines and sheeters. The grinding machines are designed for circular knives of a diameter up to 300 mm. Based on a rigid steel construction in modular design, these high precision machines are equipped with a slewable workpiece and tool spindle head both of which are frequency controlled. Furthermore, the machines are equipped with a coolant supply and several other features.
